F or Susan Wilson (BScEng'92), the lure of a good job and new experience beckoned when she was recruited by a large firm in Ontario after graduating from chemical engineering at UNB. Wilson began her career as a chemical processing junior engineer at Procter & Gamble and immediately enjoyed the engagement of working with a team. She honed her people and leadership skills, and was promoted to department manager and then to continuous improvement manager when the site upgraded to a high- speed manufacturing plant. By 2008, it was time for her to decide to either accept another promotion — which meant a move to the US — or come back home to New Brunswick.
