'62 THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING CLASS OF '62 is planning a get together after 55 years of lives lived away from the campus and with very little contact between each other. '64 BEV HARRISON (BA, BEd'66) of Hampton, NB, has been appointed to the commission on electoral reform, which will be tasked with submitting recommendations for improving the electoral system in New Brunswick. '66 DAVID BESNER (BScEng) of Fredericton, NB, has been named by Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr to a five-person panel to make recommendations on overhauling the national energy regulator. JOHN BOILEAU (BA) of Halifax, NS, was awarded a vice-regal commendation by the lieutenant- governor of Nova Scotia for advising His Honour and the Office of the Lieutenant-Governor on various military commemorations and anniversaries related to the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the centennial of the First World War, as well as presenting talks as part of the Lieutenant-Governor's Evenings at Government House series. @ '67 THE CLASS OF '67 HAS A LOT OF ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY CLASS. FAYE BROPHY, née Underhill, (BA, BEd'71) of Upper Blackville, NB, was awarded an honorary lifetime membership by the New Brunswick Society of Retired Teachers. '68 ALEXANDRE DESCHÊNES (BCL) of Bathurst, NB, was nominated conflict of interest commissioner by the Government of New Brunswick. ROBERT VINCENT (BA, LLB'71) of Rothesay, NB, received the Distinguished Service Award at the Canadian Bar Association's New Brunswick branch President's Dinner. '69 RON HOOPER (BPE, MEd'87) of Peticodiac, NB, was honoured for his 60 years of coaching at Petitcodiac Regional High School. MICHAEL MALLORY (BBA) of Fredericton, NB, received the Robert Nourse Award at ChairWorld, an annual international business confer- ence hosted by Vistage Worldwide.
